Well it would appear that for the first time in a long time I’ve been Memed by the ever so lovely Kakariki over at Radical Cross Stitch (which I’m happy to call party of the Goonanism family).

So I have to “tell 6 things of your life which look like manias or tics, and then pass it to 6 other persons.” So let’s see, I’ll do 3 tics and 3 manias:

Manias:

1. Free and Open Source Software - it’s always better, not matter what. I’ve a blind bias and I’m not ashamed.
2. Jello Biafra - What I’d give for bottled JB. I’ve every album he’s ever released and every album that he is samped on that I know of.
3. My morning ritual has been described as ‘anal retentive’. While i find this hurtful and unhelpful, I am rather particular about how I go about my morning business.

Tics:

1. Stretch Hummers - I get into a blind fury when I see them they are such a symbol of excess. (btw if you every see a billboard advertising Hummers, the ‘H’ is very easily changed to a ‘B’).
2. Dogs tied to bike racks - drives me crazy, get out of my parking space.
3. People talking in movies - Last time I went to the movies I actually turned around and asked the people behind me if they were going to talk through the entire film. I turned out they had every intention of doing so, thought that I was the rude one and paid no attention hence ruining the film for me.
