The GPhone is a development I’d like to see and it would appear they are going down the open source path… it makes sense.

The essential point is that Google’s strategy is to lead the creation of an open-source competitor to Windows Mobile…They will put it in the open-source world and take the economics out of the Windows Mobile business.

Ubuntu has had been working on a version of it’s operating system for mobile devices which can only help Google’s GPhone.
