Well, I’m off on my first holiday for a year at the end of the month.
I’ve booked a flight to Perth and will be meeting a couple of friends in a camper van there. So I’ve got 10 days and am quite mobile. I’m thinking of heading down to Margaret river etc but really want some suggestions. If you had just landed in Perth, have 10 days, a camper van and a sense adventure, what would you do?
I’m so excited - hopefully there’ll actually be some sun over there.
Also, it will be the first time I’ve flown JetStar and the first time I’ve been to Avalon (fucken Avalon! Still, it saves me about $100).

hey ham! it’s been too long — why is it you live across the road yet i haven’t seen you since we were both hallucinating? anyhoo, my too sense: my mum made me stay in a hostel while we were in margaret river (i know, generational change much?) in dunsboro, which was actually really lovely. it’s called the beachhouse and, you guessed it, is right on the beach. about 3.5 hrs from perth, 60ks from m. river township. lots of wineries near by and seriously beautiful national park (maybe a camp ground too?). otherwise i hear albury is nice! and might i ask whom might we be meeting in the west??

thanks for that Dewi - that national park that you mention with a possible camp ground sounds like a winner. I think I need to look at some maps.
I will, of course, be meeting up with Ariane and Liz (Claire) over there.
