A Lesson in Framing

Is it just me or do the Victorian Police need a lesson in framing?

It’s the new ‘drug buses’ you see. They are a roaming billboard for drugs. Written down the side of them in bold, capitalised, 2 foot high letters is ‘DRUGS‘.

The anti-smoking campaign is ‘Quit’ because ‘Don’t smoke’ just makes people want to light up.

There is also the small risk of drug crazed teenagers chasing after a drugs bus thinking they are full of drugs.

Sometimes you just can’t win

I’ve just got home from a quick trip into the city on my bike for a few supplies.

It just so happens that it was one of those rides where it would seem that everyone wants to kill you.

The second guy (of three) that nearly killed me just pulled out of his car spot. I stopped next to him and said “did you look when you pulled out”. “Yes,” he replies. “So did you see me?” I ask. “Yes.”

What the hell do you say to that? I just called him a fuck head and rode off.

5 – 0

Few things are sweeter than destroying England 5 – 0. It’s only the second time we’ve ever done it and the last time was too long ago for anyone to remember.

Langer made me cry – mostly because he was crying. That’s ok though, I’m a sensitive guy who is in touch with his feelings of hatred for the English cricket team.

The question now is who will be made Australian of the year? Punter? Warnie? McGrath? Langer? I don’t think they could make Warnie Australian of the year due to his “off the field” conduct but McGrath, the family man, could do it, as could Punter.

Bring on the World Cup I say!

My DJ Debut

Happy New Year’s all and welcome 2007. Hope your was as good as mine. I held a pretty massive party at my place where I made my DJ Debut and I must say, I think I did all right. “I’ve had the time of my life” as the midnight song went down a treat despite some doubt from certain unnamed people.

Hope you all enjoyed your New Years as much as I did.

…and now, a photo from the dance floor:
